The Apshen allows users of the VectorGuard system to use their own stencils, or stencils produced by the stencil foil vendor of their choice, in their VectorGuard frames.

In making the announcement, Thomas Erdmann, CEO of QTS and developer of the Apshen, said, “Apshen gives VectorGuard users a choice they didn’t have before. They could only purchase stencils that fit the VectorGuard system from VectorGuard or from a licensee. Now, they can purchase them from whoever they choose. Apshen is an effective adapter system that allows you to use your own existing foils, or foils manufactured by a vendor whom you choose, in your VectorGuard frames. They’ll tension and work just as well and reliably as foils produced by VectorGuard, but now you have flexibility to shop around.” Apshen, he adds, is a patent-pending design that won’t compromise your VectorGuard system and does not infringe on any existing patents, so you can use it with confidence.

Apshen’s aluminum cover and injection molded base fit onto the edge of stencil foils. They‘re quick to attach and make a solid connection for the life of the stencil.
